VantageLinks is a dedicated Information Technology (IT) staffing company supporting our clients with all their IT Needs. We currently have an opening for a Manufacturing & Engineering (IT) Systems Analyst with one of our premier clients.


Essential Functions/Basic Duties:

  • Analyzes, troubleshoots, customizes, and modifies maintenance and reliability applications
  • Coaches the end-user in troubleshooting or using application functionality
  • Troubleshoots application related computer problems in a timely and accurate fashion
  • Coordinates patching of applications with the team and application users
  • Stays informed on the critical issues to address from application user groups and helps to define the required timing for resolution of critical issues
  • Supports enhancements to current applications
  • Supports input and guidance for accurate and helpful training for the user community for enhancements, upgrades, and other changes to the current application functionality
  • Provides input for developing and maintaining training documentation for application users
  • Monitors and addresses issues reported by the end-user community
  • Provides excellent customer service and feedback on the status of issues

Essential Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree*; Information Systems or technical degree in Manufacturing or Maintenance disciplines strongly preferred
  • Minimum 5 years related information systems and/or maintenance & reliability systems experience
  • Progressive experience in several areas of maintenance information technology/operational technology with a focus on application support
  • Experience overseeing the processes to patch and upgrade applications
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of maintenance and reliability applications that support business operations such as an Inspection Data Management System, Maintenance scheduling and root cause analysis
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills in one or more maintenance and reliability applications
  • Technical I Programming Skills

  • Strong written and oral communication skills; Strong interpersonal skills ·
  • Attention to detail, self-motivated and directed
  • Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language

  • Must be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC)


  • Demonstrated working knowledge of one or more of the following:
  • Work Order Management Systems
  • Inspection Data Management Systems
  • Isometric drawings
  • Interfaces with SAP
  • Barcode systems used in maintenance applications
  • Use of hand held devices for managing maintenance work activities

Computer Programs:

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of one or more of the following:
  • Microsoft Office
  • SAP interfaces
  • PCMS
  • Apollo
  • AutoDesk AutoCAD

Primavera P6 Preferred Skills:

  • Maintenance and Reliability background
  • Industry related certifications (e.g. Microsoft, ITIL)
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Maintenance & Reliability applications
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of integrations and interfaces within and extending from
  • Maintenance & Reliability applications and SAP
  • Knowledge of IT/OT intersection
  • *Degree must be from a school that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the Secretary of Education of the U.S. Department of Education
