Director of Corporate and Customer Training

The appropriate candidate will be a team player who can lead their own department and manage up to two direct reports. Ability to travel extensively is necessary and a background in software training is essential. Having experience working with a growing company is a plus and good presentation skills are a must.

Duties & Responsibilities Include:

  • Reports directly to Customer Service IT Director but also works directly with the Sales and Development departments on an on-going basis
  • Enhance the customer experience with improving internal practices
  • Organize/Promote courses internally with Sales and Development departments to stay current
  • Plan, prepare, and research training courses/lessons for customers both in person and skype/webinar instruction
  • Train employees internally on customer service protocols, standards and tools
  • After 3 months of learning our software system we would expect the new hire to start developing a comprehensive Training Program for new and existing customers. Training will include product training as well as overall business operations and marketing using our products.
  • Assess customers individual and group training needs and maintain individual and group training records to be shared with IT Director and Sales Manager
  • Instruct users on an individual or group basis as needed in person and via Skype/Webinar
  • Assess customer feedback on an on-going basis
  • Keep personal IT skills and knowledge up to date
  • Work directly with Sales Manager to develop and implement sales training programs to include prospecting, product demonstration, sales and closing techniques
  • Promote "paid training" classes to our customer base
  • Implement "on-going" customer follow up sessions to compliment "paid training" courses
  • Work in unison with Quality Control and Development on an on-going basis
  • Maintain a training calendar that coincides with installations and upgrades
