Territory Manager

The Territory Manager position is a remote position and will be responsibility for the Western US region. It is preferred that the candidate live in AZ, CO or NV with a bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years sales experience required. The position includes travel up to 50% in the assigned territory while actively promoting our products to major industrial, power generation, integrators, distributors, engineers, utilities, and our customers. The Territory Manager must excel in sales leadership with a strong technical background. The role will be responsible for driving revenue with key accounts, influencers, and market channels to effectively implement sales strategies for the territory. This position spearheads customer engagement and successfully coordinates with our Engineers and Application Specialists to provide technical expertise. An ideal candidate will have strong industry experience and will foster long-term customer relationships, recognizes the motivations of major accounts, and capitalizes on understanding the customer’s needs. The Territory Manager will manage a robust sales pipeline and will be capable of fully utilizing CRM and MS Office tools proficiently.

Reports to: Regional Sales Manager

Essential Duties:

  • Identify Customers in assigned territories.
  • Schedule appointments, trips, and visits to meet with Customers in assigned territories.
  • Make introductory sales presentations to Customers.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of visits by our technical application personnel with Customers.
  • Track major opportunities in the assigned territories.
  • Record/log all Customer contacts, opportunities, and trip reports in our CRM system.
  • Provide monthly updates on projects, opportunities, and upcoming visits to direct supervisor.
  • Provide sales forecasts and participate in the determination of market potential in the assigned territories.
  • Coordinate and/or negotiate purchase agreements and other commercial items within the assigned territories.
  • Obtain and report marketing information for potential new products in the assigned market segment.
  • Attend and assist in trade organization functions as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor's degree; preferably in Electrical Engineering but other degrees will be considered with relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in direct account sales.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in direct sales of a technical product to end users.
  • Working knowledge of power systems as it pertains to the assigned market segments.
  • Travel up to 50% in the assigned territories.
